We have been provided the fortunate opportunity to collaborate with Home ReSource and Missoula Urban Demonstration Project to bring you a three day workshop on sculptural sound art. Horns, transducers, diaphragms, actuators, and beyond! We will be working with the materials and site of Home ReSource to explore combining speakers and prerecorded sound in sculptural installations that evoke more from a site. This will be a participant driven learning session facilitated by Lead Artists Jesse Blumenthal and Jay Bruns assisted by skilled volunteers and Home ReSource Staff. We are here to empower your creative expression!

Participants will be asked to wear a mask when in proximity to others. Each participants studio space will be sited outside, under a canopy. You will have power in your space for any tooling you desire. MUD will provide each participant with a basic tool set and be able to rent out tools to members (consider an annual MUD membership!). IAM will provide speaker drivers. We will provide some additional wood sheet good to augment the found material on site, but we encourage any more ambitious artists to purchase their own specialty/clean materials.
